The Zasów village that has long been known in the area for its many nurseries, including fruit tree nurseries. The nurseries have a very rich history dating back to the early 19th century when the Łubieński family acquired the legal deed to the Zasów area and began to slowly build up this branch of the economy. Today, each nursery primarily offers fruit tree and shrub seedlings, including apple, pear, plum, cherry, peach, apricot and walnut seedlings. Additionally, some nurseries also offer deciduous and coniferous trees and shrubs, as well as flowers – particularly roses. All products offered by nurseries are typically tailored to the clients’ needs, with the option to choose between trees and shrubs dug up straight from the ground or ones sold in dedicated containers.
