Peach tree is a species of fruit tree derived from the Rosaceae family. Its origin is not entirely clear, although it is said that the most likely homeland of this plant is the Far East, presumably China. It is currently grown as a cultivated plant, it does not grow wild.
The peach fruit has a fuzzy skin and is yellow or red. It weighs approx. 100-200 g. Depending on the variety, peaches ripen from July to October.
The fruits of this tree have many uses. It is especially recommended for people who want to lose weight. In addition, peaches have a diuretic and sedative effect; they are also used for diseases of the urinary system and rheumatic diseases. Peaches are very tasty and are often eaten raw. They can also be turned into jam, compote, as well as added to a cake or dried.
When planting a peach, a sunny spot should be found for it. They require light soils rich in humus and with good hydration. These trees have to be trimmed every year. Peach is moderately resistant to frost, so it is worth securing it for the winter.
The most popular species are: Harnaś, Inka, Rakoniewicka, Redhaven, Royalvee, Ufo Saturn, Velvet and Reliance.
